Dungeon Stomp Version 1.79

Introduction

Dungeon Stomp is a multiplayer/single player dungeon game based on the d20 game system.  Dungeon Stomp will allow you to see your dice rolls, as you would, in a d20 based game system.   You can also see your rolls when you listen at doors.  Dungeon Stomp can be played as a single player adventure game or you can work together (or not) in a network game.  Network Dungeon Stomp can be launched via the multiplayer menu or simply through MSN Messenger.  The shareware version currently has 2 dungeon levels for you to explore.  Register your copy to unlock the deeper dungeon levels.

Setting

The townsfolk have recently been menaced by strange creatures originating from the
'forgotten dungeons' nearby.  They have sent you, fearless warrior to venture within
and rid the area of this evil. It is rumored that the upper levels are inhabited by Goblins.   May the luck of the gods be with you.

Dice Rolls

Dungeon Stomp allows you to see your dice rolls on the screen. The d20 die is your attack die.  This is the die you use to attack creatures.  The number you need to roll is indicated by the monster's AC (armour class).  If a hit is successful then a damage die will be rolled (depending on the weapon you are using).  This damage is then applied to the monster.

A roll of 20 indicates a critical hit and double damage will be applied.

A roll of a 1-2 on a d6 will allow you to listen at doors.

Level Advancement

Dungeon Stomp uses the traditional d20 level advancement rules using experience points.

Spells

Scrolls are now available.  They can be used by selecting the scroll and pressing the
fire button.  Currently there are scrolls of Magic Missle  (1d4), Fireball (1d6), Lightning (1d8)
and Healing (1d8).  Damage will be multiplied by the level (hit dice) of the user.

Save/Load
You  can execute commands by pressing the tab key.
